A butcher shop with a restaurant and lounge around it

The Lazy Butcher brings premium Colorado beef, on-site butchery, and a scratch kitchen together under one roof in Evergreen. The shop anchors the work: fresh cuts, house-made sausages, dry-aged meats, seafood, and prepared meals — made in-house and ready to grab from the butcher case.

That same kitchen runs the smokers for our award-winning BBQ, voted Best Butcher Shop and Best BBQ Restaurant in Colorado Community Media's Best of the Best. Sides, sausages, and prepared meals are made from scratch, so what you order to eat in is the same quality you can take home.

Next door, the Cowboy Lounge brings rustic charm, a serious whiskey and cocktail list, local Evergreen beer, and live music on Saturdays — with the full restaurant menu on hand too.
